This will be brief, have poor spelling and bad grammer - it is 11:30 pm at night here & after about 48 hours of travelling i am exhaused. If I ever suggest to any of you again that I am considering taking an 17 hour layover without booking a bed to sleep in talk me out of it.
We are finally here in Uganda and although we have only seen it in the dark it already looks cool beyond measure, i've had a hot shower, am with my most favourite youngest sister and have a comfortable bed waiting for me. Life is looking good.
There will be more later but wanted to write a quick note so you knew we had both arrived safe and sound, John and Samson picked us up at the airport and John is staying at a backpackers with us tonight and we are picking Samson up from his university in the morning as he is going to drive back to Mbale with us...i am bursting with excitement for our time to start so I am heading to bed so I can wake up and explore - oh P.S. Mum and Dad, you would be proud to know that I totally forgot my malaria medication but John says he can get me some here really cheaply, apparently you can also get about 1,000 tabs of valium for USD$10 so if anyone needs some just let me know!! ha ha
Talk to you all soon - Love Lib

Hi Lib & Suze,so happy you have arrived safely, yours was a marathon Lib. We had a couple of days at Anglesea, did some reading, weeding, woodgathering an spread some horse poo. Came home last night, mum is very full of the cold started antibiotics today, hope I can keep her home tomorrow. You will have had a good look at Mbale by the time you get this and begin to settle in with John & Lyn and the girls. I hope the weather is kind to you, not too humid. When we arrived home from Anglesea Keith went quite silly, I think she was looking for you Lib, she seemed pleased to find your car in the carport. Suze it must be great to be with Lib at last you can now relax knowing someone else from home is looking out for you. Take lots of great photos and some video but most of all enjoy Bushikori And this great experience.
Lots of love, dad & mum
Hi Lib and Suze!
Surprised to hear that you are in Uganda because I haven't been in touch for a while. But how exciting! I'm sure this would be an unforgettable experience for both of you! Didn't know Suze went to Camp America either. What's your plan for next year?
As you might know, I'm in Stockholm. Everything is going well here. I'm going on a little trip on my own at the end of October to Prague, Vienna and Salzburg. So I can do the cliched 'backpacking in Europe' thing :-)
Miss you all and I should keep in touch.
Annie XO
